Zizo Simion

For 25 years Zizo has worked on the implementation of socio-environmental projects in local and traditional communities, in different regions of Brazil.

Zizo coordinates the implementation of Ahsyana Ecovillage and Agroforestry in Chapada Veadeiros. Together with Rudá Iandê, he is managing the Chapada Verde Project with the mission of contributing to the conservation and restoration of the Cerrado biome. He also coordinates the Rede Terra, an organization with the mission of collaborating in the social dialogue between government, private sector, and public sector, acting in the construction and implementation of socio-environmental and territorial development projects.

Simion was the co-founder of UNISOL, an organization that brings together 700 Brazilian businesses, acting in family ecological agriculture,  craftwork, electro and electronic recycling, and community-based tourism.
